Contented You
An 8-week 1:1 guided journey for women who are tired of feeling ruled by pressure, responsibility, and the never-ending to-do list.
Through mindfulness, self-awareness, and personalised one to one support, you'll learn to understand yourself differently, make choices that genuinely support you, and create a life that feels less like something you're constantly trying to keep up with.
Does it feel like there's never quite enough time?
Perhaps life looks fine on paper.
You're managing work, family, relationships, life admin, and all the things that need doing.
You get things done. People rely on you. From the outside, you probably look like you're coping well.
But underneath that, life can start to feel like an endless cycle of responsibility.
The to-do list never seems finished.
You sit down to rest but your mind is already moving onto the next thing.
Or perhaps you've reached the point where everything feels like too much. You know there are things you need to do, but you can't quite find the energy, focus, or motivation to begin. You spend the day feeling busy and exhausted, yet somehow still feel behind.
Over time, it can become difficult to remember what you actually need, what matters to you, or what helps you feel good.
Not because you've done anything wrong.
Simply because you've spent so long responding to the demands of life that you've stopped noticing yourself within it.
Contented You was created for women who want more from life than simply getting through it.
If being more organised was the answer, it would have worked by now
Many women arrive at Contented You convinced they need to be more organised, manage their time differently, or finally get on top of everything.
That makes complete sense. When life feels overwhelming, it's natural to assume the problem is the number of things on your plate.
But if being more organised was the answer, it probably would have worked by now.
Most of the women I work with are already capable, responsible and doing their best to keep everything moving. They care deeply about the people and things that matter to them, and they're often carrying far more than they realise.
Over time, it can become easy to lose sight of your own needs whilst responding to the demands of everyday life. You get used to pushing through. You tell yourself you'll rest once things are quieter, once you've caught up, once you've finished everything that needs doing.
The trouble is, there is always something else that needs doing.
And eventually, life can start to feel as though it revolves around managing responsibilities, meeting expectations, and getting through the week.
You might notice yourself constantly thinking ahead, struggling to switch off, or feeling guilty when you're not being productive.
Or you might find yourself at the other end of the spectrum — staring at the to-do list, unable to decide where to start, feeling exhausted by things that once felt manageable.
Neither experience means you're failing.
They're often signs that you've been carrying too much, for too long, without enough attention being given to what sustains you.
Contented You helps you step out of that cycle.
Through mindfulness, self-awareness and personalised support, you'll begin to understand the habits, pressures and expectations shaping your experience of life.
Not so you can become a different person. So you can make choices that better support the person you already are.
Does this sound familiar?
You wake up already thinking about what needs doing
Before your feet have touched the floor, your mind is running through the day ahead.
You sit down to rest and immediately think about what you should be doing instead
Even quiet moments can come with a running commentary in the background.
You keep telling yourself things will feel better once you've caught up
But somehow there is always something else waiting for your attention.
You have days where you're constantly on the go, followed by days where you can't seem to get started on anything
Neither feels particularly good.
You look at your to-do list and feel overwhelmed by where to begin
So you end up doing the smaller, easier things while the important things stay untouched.
You often feel responsible for keeping everything moving
At work, at home, or in relationships, there is usually something that feels like it rests on your shoulders.
You struggle to enjoy what you've achieved
The focus quickly shifts to what still isn't done.
You know exactly what everyone else needs from you
But if someone asks what you need, you're not always sure how to answer.
If you recognised yourself in several of these, you're not alone.
Imagine looking at everything on your plate and being able to tell the difference between what genuinely matters and what can wait.
Imagine finishing the day knowing there are still things left undone, but not feeling like you've failed because of it.
Imagine recognising when you're carrying too much and feeling able to ask for help, set a boundary, or put something down.
Imagine being able to rest without spending the whole time mentally running through what needs doing next.
Imagine making decisions based on what matters to you, rather than guilt, pressure, or other people's expectations.
Imagine feeling less caught up in the relentless cycle of doing and more connected to the life you're actually living.
Imagine trusting yourself to know what you need.
What becomes possible when you make room for yourself?
Not because you've removed all responsibility. Not because you've finally managed to get everything organised.
But because you understand yourself differently.
You know what sustains you. You know what drains you. You know what matters most.
And you trust yourself enough to live accordingly.
This allows room for responsibility, ambition, rest, joy, relationships, and the things that make life feel meaningful.
What is Contented You?
Contented You is an 8-week guided journey that combines mindfulness, therapeutic tools, insights from neuroscience and body-based practices.
Designed for women who are tired of feeling as though life is something they are constantly trying to keep up with, it offers a structured framework whilst creating space for your individual experiences, challenges and goals.
Throughout the programme, you'll learn practical tools to help you step out of survival mode, recognise what is draining your energy, and respond differently to the pressures and expectations that shape everyday life.
Together, we'll create space to reflect on what matters to you, what supports your wellbeing, and what might need to change for life to feel more manageable, meaningful and enjoyable.
What is included?
Eight 1:1 sessions
Guided mindfulness practices
Reflective exercises and worksheets
Personal support between sessions
Over the eight weeks, you'll be supported to:

Understand what helps you feel well and how to make space for it.
Respond to stress with greater awareness rather than running on autopilot.
Develop a kinder and more realistic relationship with yourself.
Feel more confident making decisions that align with your needs, values and priorities.
Build habits and practices that support you long after the programme ends.
Everything is designed to fit into real life, helping you make meaningful changes without adding more pressure to an already full life.

It gave me more meaningful time.
"I was worried that this would be something else in my life that I need to find time to do but what Danielle's mindfulness gave me was more meaningful time. `

- Heidi
Hi, I'm Danielle
Before becoming a therapist and mindfulness teacher, I worked as a solicitor and later in global HR leadership roles for fifteen years.
I know what it's like to juggle competing demands, carry significant responsibility, and feel as though there is always more to do.
My own experience of mindfulness and therapy showed me that lasting change rarely comes from trying harder or becoming more productive. Instead, it comes from developing a different relationship with yourself, understanding what supports you, and making choices that reflect what matters most.
That experience continues to shape the way I work today.
Contented You brings together the approaches I have found most helpful in supporting clients who feel stuck in cycles of pressure, overwhelm, and self-criticism.
My hope is that by the end of this one to one programme, you'll feel more able to recognise what you need, trust your own judgement, and build a life that feels sustainable, meaningful and genuinely yours.

Frequently Asked Questions

Therapy offers an open-ended space to explore whatever feels important to you. Sessions are led by what you bring and can move in different directions depending on your needs.
Contented You is more structured than therapy. Whilst there is space to explore your individual experiences, we follow a guided journey that includes practical exercises, mindfulness practices, reflection, and personalised support between sessions.
Some people choose Contented You because they are looking for a clear focus and practical tools. Others prefer the open-ended nature of therapy. During an initial consultation, we can talk through which approach might suit you best.
-
Not at all.
Contented You is designed for real life and real people. Whether you're completely new to mindfulness or have tried it before, the programme will meet you where you are.

Alongside our weekly sessions, you'll be encouraged to engage with the practices and reflections between sessions.
This isn't about finding another hour in your day. Some weeks that might be as little as three minutes a day. Other weeks, you may choose to spend a little longer with a meditation, worksheet, or reflection exercise.
The programme is designed to fit around real life. Rather than adding more to your to-do list, the intention is to help you bring greater awareness and intention into the life you're already living.
